Overview

What this system does.

Puspa supports waste-service management through waste-management units, customers, collection officers, waste groups and categories, and service areas. Resident data can be imported from Excel as queued jobs with progress monitoring and downloadable failed rows, then mapped to villages, hamlets, RW, and RT neighbourhood units within each management unit.

Operations cover waste transactions per customer, resident savings balances and histories with withdrawals, billing reference data, monthly bills, payment status, collector deposits with details, and collector commissions. Unit income and expenses are recorded separately through income types, expense types, and daily expense reports, while monthly landfill (TPA) reports complete unit reporting.

The regency dashboard presents customer growth, collection statistics, and estimated waste generation with regional and year filters. The application provides an API for a companion mobile application with JWT authentication and OTP verification, educational content and banners, and per-unit WhatsApp settings for messaging residents.

Common questions

What people usually ask.

Who are the users of this system?

Three groups: waste-management unit staff who run day-to-day operations, collection officers who record transactions in the field, and residents who see their savings balance through the companion mobile application.

How does a resident savings balance work?

Each waste transaction is recorded per customer with category-level detail and priced from the waste-category price list. That amount is credited to the customer balance, and withdrawals are recorded against it with a full history.

What does the regency dashboard show?

Customer growth, collection statistics, and estimated waste generation, filterable by region and year — aggregated from the same records the units enter, so it never needs separate reporting.
