Overview
What this system does.
License Management manages the sales and distribution lifecycle of software products. Customers select products, place orders, pay, view invoices, access their licences, download product versions, and submit support tickets through a customer portal. Administrators manage products and versions, customers, orders, payments, payment methods, licences, activations, renewals, download entitlements, and application settings.
Licences are issued individually or in bulk, activated on specific domains or devices, and can be suspended, revoked, or reactivated. The client API provides activation, validation, deactivation, version-update checks, download-token issuance, and file streaming so customer applications can check their own licences.
GitHub integration synchronises product releases using tokens stored per account, with webhook handling to bring new versions in automatically. Tripay processes payments with callbacks handled as queued jobs, followed by licence activation and licence emails. Invoice files are rendered from templates and stored for customer downloads. Validation, activation, download, webhook-event, and audit logs complete activity tracking.

How does a customer application check its own licence?
Through a client API offering activation, validation, deactivation, and version-update checks. Each activation is recorded against a domain or device, and licences can be suspended, revoked, or reactivated centrally.
How do new product versions reach customers?
GitHub releases are synchronised using per-account tokens, with webhook handling so a new release appears automatically. Downloads are served through time-limited tokens rather than public URLs.
What happens after a payment completes?
The Tripay callback is processed as a queued job, which activates the licence and sends the licence e-mail. Orders left unpaid past the time limit expire on their own.
